The call for contributions for the ‘ESD Exchange’ Conference is open!
The event aims to provide a space for dialogue, connection and sharing of practice/research for anyone engaged with Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and work on Green Skills in Higher Education across the UK or beyond. The conference will put a strong and unique focus on student experiences and perspectives.
The main in-person event is on Thursday 16th – Friday 17th April 2026 at De Montfort University, Leicester. We also aim to run some webinar sessions pre/post the event for those that can’t join in person.
We are designing a low-cost and inclusive event with a range of fee options designed to minimise barriers to participation whilst covering our core hosting costs.

ESD Exchange is being organised as a collaboration between De Montfort University, University of Leicester, Loughborough University and Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK).
